We are seeking an experienced and motivated Stewarding & Hygiene Team Leader to lead our stewarding department at The Bristol Bol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and support services, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the stewarding department.
  • Lead and train the stewarding team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of kitchen supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to optimize workflow and support service efficiency.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Handle waste management and recycling processes effectively.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to the stewarding department.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a stewarding or kitchen management role, preferably in a hotel or large restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
